Needless to say, with the scores as low as they were, it didn't take long for Jerry to regain a commanding lead (3 clues in Architecture were enough for that).
Also, SONGS FOR NEW YEAR'S $2000, as most clues about viral videos do, had some Internet people happy:

Jerry bet $2,200. Clue: Losing the Battle of Grunwald in 1410 in Poland led to the end of the military power of these knights. His correct response put him at $12,000!
Alyson was having luck in HANS when she came upon the Daily Double at $1600 in that category! Just the $2,000 clue was left on the board at that point! Scores:

Alyson chose $5,000. Alex said "that's a good wager". I disagree.
If Alyson is wrong, she's done for. If she's right, she only goes to $13,400. She can't take the lead on the $2000 clue. She should have bet something like $8,200 - that way, she at least has a chance on the final clue to take the lead.
Back to Alyson's clue: Her grandmother told her that when she was 15, she could rise out of the sea & sit on the rocks in the moonlight. Her correct response put her at a useless $13,400.
