I have two weekend Coryats to report: 28200 (31000 without negs) on the episode that originally aired 9-24-12. The first time I played, my score was 22200 (28400 without negs!). On the episode that originally aired 9-28-12, my Coryat was 25800 (26600 without negs). The first time I played, it was 26000?! (28400 without negs.)
People like me in central Nebraska had to see yesterday's episode twice, because our station played Monday's again today. It sucks but I think I'm over it. I didn't play today's, I only am blogging it. Larry White tries to make it two.

At the first break:
Larry 6000 (2 right)
Bonita 2000 (3 right)
Missy 0
I got this triple-stumper in State Nicknames: "The Centennial State."
After Mr. Trebek gave the less-than-a-minute warning, I was really afraid we wouldn't see all the Blog clues. But we did.
Larry 7800 (6 right and 2 wrong)
Bonita 1800 (2 right and one wrong)
Missy 400 (3 right and 2 wrong)
Larry found the first Daily Double of Double Jeopardy, but he hadn't really gained any ground on Bonita.
Larry 12600 (7 right)
Bonita 10200 (7 right)
Missy 3600 (3 right and one wrong)
Larry wagered 5000, like he did yesterday, on this clue in Our Historical Documents: "This 1854 act introduced by Stephen Douglas created 2 new territories west of Missouri." He got it right! Vamos!
I got this triple-stumper in Change One Letter: "An individual's style of speaking morphs into a class of literature that includes novels."
Larry had separated the men from the girls by the time he found the next Daily Double in Occupations.
Larry 22800 (4 right. Is that all?)
Bonita 10600 (One right)
Missy 3600
Mr. Trebek had just given the one-minute warning. Larry wagered 2000 on this clue: "From the Latin for 'iron,'this worker was similar to a blacksmith, & often did a shod-y job." Larry seemed to know the Latin for "iron" because he said a word that I assume was made up, that was awfully close to the right thing. I wondered how many clues were left when Mr. Trebek then said there were 4. One clue stayed covered. Look at this:
Larry 23200 (2 right)
Bonita 10600
Missy 4800 (One right)
I'm pleased. I like watching Larry because he strikes me as the kind of guy that has a volcanic eruption just beneath the surface.
The Final Jeopardy category was Geopolitical Hotspots. This was the clue: "On the Grand Trunk Road, the Wagah border separating these 2 countries since 1947 is called 'the Berlin Wall of Asia.'" I just had to take a wild guess on this one. Missy was wrong and lost 4795. Bonita was right and added 9000. Larry was right and added 1224 - today's date!
I'm not tired, but since this is what my couple days look like...
@mcielwainr Merry Christmas! Saw movie tonight, then drive to Lncln, blog, Mass, presents, call sister, food, movie again, drive, blog again

... and since everyone's gone to bed, I'm gonna pass on the "one/two/three years ago" thing, which takes more time than you might think.
